An account into Woody's relationship with his dog Oden and how it developed - and how his bike can be used as a release for his anguish. A pretty moving story, and I think there is probably something in there that anyone can relate to. I find that not only becoming more sensitive with age, I'm also becoming more aware of mortality.
is the ride with helmet question an actual question or just someone having a hipster dig?
I think (or was talking) more about the people around me than myself - when you're a kid, it's difficult to see how death affects people, and now from what is going on around me and the people you love getting older, you start to see how the loss is unbearably inevitable.
And No. I don't wear a helmet. Maybe I have some more growing up to do.
jeez that was really moving. I had to put my cat down a few months ago that i've had since I was 4 years old, so a lot of emotion was flooding out there.
@ helmet commenter- you should have a bit more of a think about what mortality means.
oh and it wouldnt hurt to post your names guys and gals!
That was moving. Struck a chord with me. I had my dog put down more than a year ago. I still think about him all the time.
