Ricky has done Yorkshire proud with this build. His first wet coat with the downtube graphic picked out in the metallic basecoat. Can't tell if there is a fade in there but the finish looks amazing.

It's heading down as a show model with Ricky to TokyoFG tomorrow so if you're about soho, go check it out.

A damn good day for custom whips! Tom sent me a link to Bertelli Bici from NY. Some amazing bikes, shot really well too.

Website is really nice - check out the 'About' section - the builders list of likes and dislikes is pretty bang on.

Vanguard Bicycles

Some Interesting bikes from Vanguard, based in Singapore and Portland. Some real nice vintage looking city fixes and the wild copper beast - looks like a Doc Brown creation!

Paul Smith in TDV

Jos gets a big thumbs up from British design Legend Paul Smith on his recent visit to the shop. Also there is whispers about a collaboration between Mr Smith's R.Newbold brand and TourDeVille on a clothing line. Sounds pretty good to me!

An account into Woody's relationship with his dog Oden and how it developed - and how his bike can be used as a release for his anguish. A pretty moving story, and I think there is probably something in there that anyone can relate to. I find that not only becoming more sensitive with age, I'm also becoming more aware of mortality.
