Last night, Fixed Gear Leeds were lucky enough to have the first European showing of The Revival by Wayne Morhart. Wayne travelled up to Leeds with some of the 14Bike crew for the event and will be in Manchester now for tonights showing.
Needless to say, the beer was flowing last night so memories of later in the evening are a little vague (apologies to any victims of my drunken ramblings) but the film was amazing. As expected, the production values were top quality and the soundtrack was real good too. I think Tyler Johnson stands out as my favourite rider in the film but the whole film really does stand testament to how quickly the standard of Trick riding is progressing.
We headed to the park today for a bit of a spin, and despite some pretty bleary eyes, Odge, Juliet and Oscar were putting down some pretty smooth shit.
A huge thanks to Wayne for bringing the film up to Leeds, everyone from 14bike who made the journey North and all the riders who showed up for last nights event. Max has loads of images so expect a good few posts documenting the night...
