Offered is an exclusive look into an upcoming footwear design between San Francisco-based Shoe Bizand Onitsuka Tiger, developed for the San Francisco leg of this year’s Bicycle Film Festival. Building off Onitsuka’s classic Mexico silhouette, they develop a cycling version of the shoe, which features a solid rubber outsole, allowing for a studier and more durable last, as opposed to the current spongier design. Additional highlights include super soft perforated leather uppers, a 3M reflective heel cross, and 3M woven shoelaces, all atop a simple black & white colorway. A release can be expected through Shoe Biz soon, with additional details to come.
