Track World Cup

I watched the BBC coverage of the first day last night, some pretty fast times, with China, Australia, France and the UK all looking pretty strong.

Northern lad, Kenny took silver in the individual sprint, losing out 2-1 to the frenchman, Sireau with Hoy being pushed into bronze position with two convincing wins in a row.

The british ladies smashed it in the pursuit final, taking the gold and our boy Geraint Thomas (on 104 gear inches!) was just pipped to the post by Rohan Dennis in the individual pursuit final - an awesome race by both riders.

It's been great seeing some of the greats riding, especially those that we have been so accustomed to seeing on the road. With the return of Wiggins for the Team Pursuit tomorrow, we can only hope for big things!

Check the BBC site for coverage details and video highlights.
