Why isnt it just a fixed gear race.. no point in entering if there's going to be people on proper road bikes..
People turned up on road bikes last year so I guess it's an attempt to make fixed riders aware geared riders might show. Makes it more difficult for fixed riders granted but is the same in most alleycats, especially in Europe.
