So after a weekend of heavy drinking and debauchery, monday comes along and sanity is restored. I hope to be bringing you some metal over the next few weeks, i may go slightly off topic sometimes, but things will mainly fall in the Metal/Punk/Hardcore genres...
I'm also hoping to get some riding playlists out in the coming weeks, and keeping you informed on some good local gigs, however large or small, so keep your eyes peeled.
I hate to start this off with some bad news, but The Sword have been a personal favourite of a few of us riders in Leeds for a while. We were looking forward to going to see them live in December but unfortunately its been cancelled! Drummer Trivett Wingo has departed, forcing them to cancel loads of tour dates, including The Cockpit in Leeds.
Heres a favourite of mine, if you've not heard them i'd suggest checking them out if you like bands like Sleep.

Our good friends at Nation of Shopkeepers are putting on this all-dayer with Lucifer Rising in december, which is definitely worth attending.

I've seen Closure many a time, there good dudes and they sure can play.
